Charlie Bloomer

Charlie Bloomer is a first year at Barnard College of Columbia and independent journalist originally from a small town in Oregon. Her work has previously appeared in The Oregonian, Portland's Pulitzer winning alt-weekly Williamette Week and the nonprofit street paper Street Roots where she wrote profiles on vendors facing housing insecurity. On campus, she's involved in Columbia's radio station WKCR, competitive slam poetry and the student art publication.
