Emily Lo

Emily Lo is a rising senior at the University of Washington, majoring in Political Science with a focus on International Security while pursuing minors in International Studies and Laws, Societies, & Justice. As a first-generation immigrant, she has witnessed the challenges and barriers that underrepresented groups face, making the issue of mass incarceration particularly important. Her passion for human rights and international law has driven her academic and professional pursuits, beginning with involvement in non-profit organizations and grassroots activism, with the goal of one day working for the Justice Department.
