Justine Pearlman

Justine is a senior at the University of Connecticut double-majoring in Political Science and Human Rights. Her passion for social justice and journalism is rooted in a thorough education on national and global human rights issues as well as her involvement in the school's Model UN and student-led newspaper. As she prepares to embark on an exciting new post-grad journey, she is currently exploring the depth and diversity of the human rights field in hopes of pursuing a career in which she can make a meaningful difference in a person's life. In her free time, she loves to draw, do crosswords, and develop her constantly growing rock playlist. She is thrilled to be a part of the WITNESS team, learning from those impacted by incarceration and sharing their stories with the world.
