Maddy Prucha
Maddy Prucha (she/her) is a rising senior at Emory University majoring in English/Creative Writing and Human Health. She is passionate about journalism and legal advocacy, with experience writing for multiple campus publications. She works during the year as a Paralegal Intern at the Capital Habeas Unit of the Federal Defender Program of North Georgia, where she assists in post-conviction defense for individuals on death row. At Witness to Mass Incarceration, she is eager to use her journalism skills to highlight the injustices within the criminal legal system and amplify the voices of those directly impacted. In her free time, she enjoys gymnastics, reading, and exploring with friends.
