Tess Schmitt

Tess Schmitt is a Social Media Intern at WITNESS, where she crafts engaging social content and helps shape the organization’s visual presence online. She is currently pursuing a B.A. in Criminal Justice with minors in Art and Legal Studies at the University of Delaware. Tess is passionate about the intersection of law, storytelling, and visual communication, drawing from both academic research and creative practice. She has participated in the Inside-Out Prison Exchange Program and contributed to projects exploring themes of justice, identity, and reform. After graduation, Tess plans to attend law school to continue advancing free expression, civil liberties, and equitable access to justice.
