Olivia Waid

Olivia Waid(she/her) is an undergraduate Classics student at the University of Glasgow, currently on a year abroad at UCLA studying Politics and History. She brings a uniquely cross-disciplinary lens to her work with the curriculum development team. Olivia is passionate about strengthening community outreach at a local level, ensuring that people have access to the support and resources they need when governmental systems fall short. She has channeled this commitment through volunteer work with Mind Mental Health and various community-focused projects. Through her internship with Witness to Mass Incarceration, she hopes to help build learning resources that center humanity, history, and the urgent need for reform.
